Venice Vision on the Waterways

Artist Description: ” It was a trip to Venice which brought me to this glorious vision. I was in a small boat traveling the waterway to another location when we passed the Church of San Giogio Maggiore. Quickly I had to take a series of photos, then pick the best out of the bunch to create this piece of art. The Church of San Giorgio Maggiore is a 16th-century Benedictine church on an island in Venice, in northern Italy designed by Andrea Palladio, and built between 1566 and 1610. The church is a basilica in the classical renaissance style and its brilliant white marble gleams above the blue water of the lagoon opposite the Piazzetta and forms the focal point of the view from every part of the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Stark colors punctuate the architecture with bristle brush strokes mainly addressing the blue sky.”
This artist’s renditions of his photographs are truly Art. The portrayal of the subject matter not only depicts what the artist is trying to capture, but the additional textures and enhancements definitely deliver the feel and “reality” one would experience. Magnificent!

A note from Christine, owner of Masterwork Arts: To my amazement, after having seen these pieces of Photographic Art in real life, I am astounded at the quality and vivid colors of the prints. I think if you have any doubt about the quality of this Art, I think you will be more than pleasantly surprised as was I. Photographs of these images do not do them justice. I stand behind these products 100%!
